MEMORY OF WOMEN
Congress, which is linked to the construction of the Mediterranean area and the role of women in it , and specifically the role of memory of the women in the way of equality and freedom, charges relevencia extraordinary, in light of recent events taking place in the Arab World. We want the fifth congress of Mediterranean Voices serves to give visibility to how women have ever built - is openly acknowledged or not - the history and evolution of cultures as including, participate actively and courageously in the political revolutions if necessary.
The issues on which we have developed the V Mediterranean Voices program are:
"The memory of the victim as an element of analysis. Building a "new categorical imperative" (Never Again) on the abolition of inequality of women and from his memory by upholding the truth.
-Remembrance: The Legacy of women. After amnesia of centuries. Contributions scientific, literary, artistic. Everyday life.
-power memory, memory of "impotence" and rebellion and transgression.
"The policies are: memory as a privilege and gender bias. The construction of knowledge: values \u200b\u200beducation, the power of the symbolic.
-knowledge and knowledge of women as keys to peace and dialogue between cultures, democracy. Towards a global citizenship.
-memory Transnational Networks: hacia una globalización de los saberes de las mujeres; el poder de los medios de comunicación; lo que se les escapa a los gobiernos.
-El relato de las mujeres. La expresión literaria, artística y cinematográfica, como manifestación del yo que habla.
