COEXISTENCE AND EQUALITY DAY Students, teachers and families gathered in the Holy IES Domingo de El Ejido to hold a Joint Training Seminar on Regional Coexistence and Conflict Resolution "From Equality to Diversity Care"
Completed the 50 places available, representatives of Educational Institutions of Garrucha, La Cañada, Almería , Roquetas de Mar, Vicar, The Mojonera, Matagorda and El Ejido. Was provided childcare for the sons and daughters of families attending.
This area of \u200b\u200btraining was organized by the CEP (Center for Teacher) from El Ejido and FAPACÁN (Federation of Associations of Parents of pupils), with the approval of the School Council Institute of Santo Domingo. In the day schools were represented in Garrucha, Almeria, La Cañada, Roquetas de Mar, Vicar, El Ejido, Matagorda and the Mojonera.

concluded the morning with the experience of teaching staff IES Virgen del Mar de Adra, "Best Practices in coexistence and equality." Maria and Concepcion, was reported as the birth of the Learning Community CAVITE, since that came to the Institute faculty in 2008 and decided, by a large majority in the cloister, and then with the support of families, to make a change in the community education. They opened the doors of the center and classrooms to all interested persons to assist in the improvement of the cohabitation, absenteeism and academic performance of all students. Since then there have been many achievements becoming a model for institutions that encourage family participation in schools.
After a working lunch and fellowship, earned for their efforts, was presented the Guide to Living Participation in committees and other material available to address this issue.
The afternoon was marked by a dynamic group work which focused on "How to participate actively", boosted by the coexistence of FAPACÁN team.
At the close of the Day was read the conclusions reached by the different teams, focusing on specific proposals for improving coexistence and equality in schools, among others:

2. Unification criteria and standards in the classroom. (No more than 8)
