Almería City Council by resolution of the Local Government Board dated 29.04.2011 and the initiative of the Economy and Area Intervention reports has been discharged from the International Network of Educating Cities. A process initiated in 2009 under Agenda 21.
The joined 21/01/2011 to 04/29/2011 the Network and no longer belongs to it. We have 3 months Educating City.

Today there is a total of 400 local governments in 35 countries belonging to the Network of Educating Cities and claim education as an instrument of individual and collective progress.
has also been removed from the English Network of Cities for Climate that is Section of the English Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), which brings together the cities and towns committed to sustainable development and climate protection.
The website Almería Agenda 21 where "other projects" under the headings "English Network of Cities and "Almeria Educating City" includes the plans that were to be developed, including the commitment that the Charter of Educating Cities made him City Hall.
